he NEEDS to go to a stylist to get his hair textureized and maybe a trim. and if he is a swimmer im sure he needs it. it looks like his hair might be thick so texturizing will help it piece out when he puts product in. he should use a wax. he could try forming cream by the crew mens line(it rocks) most of our male clients use it. he could also try hard to get by bed head, its a matte wax and can be restlyed all day long so no need for reapplication. hope this helps your friend. if in doubt see a stylist.. good luck

If you aren,t happy with the results,ask for a refund and have your hair styled some where else. Good hair dressers are hard to find.Luckily hair grows back.

You can try pinning your bangs to the side. If they're at brow length they may be to hard to pin straight back unless you really gel them, then it might look greasy.

Go back to the salon and ask for your money back, if you paid. You wanted a certain haircut and she couldn't do it. If she's not the owner ask to speak to them to get this resolved. Otherwise take the photo into a more reputible salon and see if they can fix it.

If your hair is already curly, then all you will need is a really good mousse and you should be able to style it that way.. Now it also depends on how curly your hair is..

if your hair is curly, then yes, with a great mousse and a diffuser you'll be able to get it. i'd suggest the diffuser (a large attatchment you put on your hair dryer to displace the heat) because it helps keep the curls and i've always had great success when doing people's hair like that.

I think that is an easy style for straight hair.

Any good hair stylist will be able to give that cut.

You do not need to color if your hair is blonde.

Color ruins the hair, anyway.

Till you need to cover grey or something drastic, do avoid color.

But if yu seriously think it is a 'must', I suggest you find out a good salon at least the first time.

When you watch them, it is easier.

Besides, if you buy the color, they have instructions with it.

I 'd suggest a good hair care along with a good diet. Nourishment is needed to keep it healthy and shiny. Makes it look good. It means a regular scalp massage and a monthly mask maybe.

I have been coloring last 7 years. Once started, it cannot be avoided. So I know what I am talking about. Usually, I go to the salon for it. But when it needs 'touching up' frequently, I do it at home.

If u want to get such effect, first of all you need to have really long hair, longer than the length that she has, remember that it is already curled, DO NOT DO EXTENSION, making extension not only will cause u to drop plenty of hair after and also makes ur hair tangled after unless u are able to maintain ur hair almost every week going to hair salon.U can just do a JAPANESE DIGITAL PERM with huge rings of circles perm, you will get such effect in just 3 hours of perming session. Digital perm not only maintains ur hair for months and also gives you the volume and makes it natural. Although its costly but it gives u a good effect. U will need to do treatment every 2 weeks to a month though. Perming hair is high maintenance because u have to do treatment, if not ur hair will turn frizzy,tangled. However, if u want to perm like her with huge curls, it will not last long (max 6months). U have to use ur fingers to twist and curl it with the styling perm cream everyday when ur hair is wet, and leave it dry naturally, do not blow.

For the hair you need a good curling iron (prob a 1.5-2inch) and extensions unless your hair is already that long, in which case I am totally jealous. For the makeup... I highly doubt those are her real lashes. You're going to need some falsies (MAC and Sugar [at Sephora] make good ones... just make sure to get the most natural looking ones). As for the rest of her makeup... foundation, a pinky blush, and some bronzer. Hope I helped?

Do you have long hair? Wash your hair normaly, or with a volumizing shampoo, then you use a volumizing product at your roots that is heat activated and you straighten it with a round brush. pull your bangs to one side( the way it is in a picture) with the round brush so it dries that way. To put volume at the roots you have to pull the opposite way that your hair grows, and blow dry under. Then you can use your curling iron at the bottom, and in the middle of your head. Straighten the rest at the top with a straightening iron.

Here's whatcha do- i've done it to my hair except for it took my friend's help and an hour and a half!

You wash your hair.. try using a volumnizing shampoo/conditioner to make your hair fuller and bigger for the curls..blow dry it.. and straighten it with a flat iron (i use a CHI).. make sure you never straighten your hair without a hair product in it.. other wise your hair will burn/fry.. use products such as Biosilk or CHI Hair silk products.. after you've straightened your hair..you want to use the rounded brush that is shaped like a cylinder.. and use the blow dryer on your side swept bangs and rotate the brush with the heat of the blowdryer on it.. then your going to need a curling iron.. the one that produces the BIG curls- so the biggest one you can find. start from the bottom and curl your way up to the stop.. don't curl your entire head though.. curl small strands of hair to produce more curls and give it a fuller look..you don't want tight curls.. you want loose curls.. so when your done curling.. somewhat brush the curls out.. use lots of hair spray when your done on the curls!

I have shoulder length hair but no matter what i do my middle of the day they end up looking really messy like this morning i washed them using head and shoulders volume (or whichever one that is for volume), combed them, blow dried them, and they looked fine but i have bangs and i dont want bangs anymore so i put spray in them the LaCoupe Volume hairspray but when i looked at myself in teh mirror around 2pm my hair were in horrible state.. why? do i need to comb them more often threw out the day? or WHAT please help, i want my hair to look like this:

I don't know what to tell you except brush it often. I have layers and my hair always gets messy. It's straight but I blow dry the ends under so its smooth, but it doesn't stay no matter what products I use. Brush often and do your best. Wear it up if you get really annoyed.

You have got to change ur shampoo brand lst!

R u aware that head n shoulders works well for anti-dandruff problem BUT it makes ur hair rough! I learn this a few years bk from one of my hairstylist fren.

Maybe u want to change to pantene or sunsilk shampoo n condition to make ur hair softer and more manageable.

Pls dun use too much spray as it tend to harden up hair after a while and its not good on scalps for everyday use.

Use lil babyoil to massage and comb to desired style.With the help of clips am sure all the above tips would have been useful to u!

big hot rollers. then put some oil on your hair after you take them out, without messing w/ the curls. in other words, take the rollers out %26amp; immediately, put some oil in your hair. don't mess w/ the freshly curled hair right away, cause you want to keep the curl as long as possible ... to keep its shape.

Take tissue paper and cut it into strips, then curl your hair around it and tie it in a little bundle on top of your head. The more hair in the bundle, the bigger the curl. Do this with wet hair and sleep in it. in the morning, just untie them and have big, bouncy, beautiful, curls!!

How long is your hair? Mine is hip length, my braid is three inches across. I usually wear mine in two braids though because it gets tangled up so fast if I don't. I'm growing it out to donate it to make wigs for kids in kemo. I like to french braid it, I can french braid about 10 differerent ways and occasionally I'll put ribbons in my braids or bows at the end to match my outfit.... there are tons of options! Step 1. Curl your hair with a curling iron, but the front I would use a blow dryer with a brush and at the bottom just curl it in.

Step 2. Grab the rest of you hair from the back and put it in a little cute messy bun and use your bobby pins to hold it in.

actually, you can get hair like that with a perm. just make sure that when you go to the salon to get it done that you tell them you want loose waves, and not curls. if you ask for curls you'll get ringlets around your face, and that's not what you want.

also, if you're gonna get a perm, be prepared to blow dry and spend money on your hair for products, and the perm itself.

Go to get your hair done and tell them your prob, than can cut down on the poofyness by giving you a hair cut with a razor and split ends... your can buy some hair conditions or smoother that they suggest or find some you like yourself you could also create a dramatically diff style by knowing how to use the blow dryer with certain brushes and techniques. I have the same trouble, only as a guy. I've found that a professionals advice is worth it. Also, a professional shampoo makes a real difference. My shampoo costs around 25 dollars a bottle and i have to use a lot to unfrizzzzz my hair.

I have almost EXACTLY the same hair. I use the john frieda frizz ease serum, and a LOT of conditioner, it REALLY makes a difference. I've also found that the garnier soft curl gel stuff is perfect. just put it in wet hair and lightly twist the hair then leave it alone until it dries. it will dry in a perfect curl, without leaving any crunch or resudue.

I have the same kind of hair as you. And I'm sorry but it probably won't ever look like that unless you put a chemical straightner on it. But don't ever use a razor on it. They tried that on me and all it did was give me worse split ends. Try Frizz Ease if you haven't already. Its expensive but it works wonders. It leaves it controlled but soft. Another good one is Herbal Essence. Mixing the two will also work if Frizz Ease is to expensive. I'm glad you like your hair. We curly headed ones have to stick together in this straight headed world. Good luck.

You might want to warn people, as that is a startlingly ugly person in that photo. All though, I did love that shade lipstick they were wearing. But I digress. Go to your hairdresser ask them to give you a short shag, (bring in the picture). They'll cut lots of layers in it and will also straight iron it. They'll prob put some pomade to get the texture and hold. Ask them what types they are using and buy something similar.

that should be ok. that picture of brad looks he just has a little bit of blonde highlights in it. So just the the stylist that you want a little blonde highlights. It should be fine. It is not going to ruin your hair. If you highlight your hair all the time then your hair can get damaged and get dry. But if you get it done and just get a retouch onces the hair grows you will see the regrowth. That should be ok.

I personally don't think guys look good when they lighten their hair unless its really dramatic and funky. If you try to make it look natural it will just look "dyed". And DO NOT use the cap you will look like some frosted haired old lady. And Brad Pitts hair is naturally blondish so it lightens better than someone with dark hair.

well, without seeing "your" picture which is what matters here, (everyone know what Brad's looks like) and also being a guy with dark hair, I can relate. My best suggestion is that although that sandy blonde look is hot, don't expect to get the same with products. Use nature, try spraying a 50/50 solution of hydrogen peroxide and water in your hair evenly, comb it it through and lay out in the sun for awhile. Just do enough to wet it and make sure you comb. Let it dry in the sun and then wash/ rinse it out. It will slowly look like a naturaly highlight if you do this 2 or 3 times in a 5 or 6 day period. You can add lemon juice also.... at least you won't go from dark brown to bright red and its really easy and less dramatic. I'll bet you will be very happy with the results.

As a hairstylist of 26 years, I recommend that you do not perm your hair...this style in the photo is done with med-large hot rollers with a drop base. If your fine hair lacks body, use mousse, Do not use gel as it will be too heavy for your hair type, as well as certain creams. Use a aresol hairspray instead of a pump, as the pump will drop the curl,it is too wet.good luck.

Do not perm your hair. In the pictures, her hair is not perm. It has been styled with a curling iron. If your hair is straight, try some gel and put it in your hair before you curl it. After the curling, I would not brush it out. Use your fingers so it will still have the shape you are going for.

I have naturally curly hair too and I love the product by "Sexy Curly Hair" called Curl Power, It has sea or salt water in it and goes on as a spray foam. I just spray it all over wet hair and then I just don't scrunch as much when I'm drying. Or you could let it air dry. The only thing is it tends to dry your hair out if you use it everyday. Just be sure to use a good deep conditioner like Pureology. I'm not sure how curly your hair is but mine is very fine and this works great for me when I just want loose waves. This style is not that hard to do so don't worry :)

First, if your hair is not already straight then you should straighten it with a flat iron. I would put a little mouse in it when it is still wet and then blow dry your hair with a round brush. You can flip your head over and dry it with some cool air to get lots of volume on top (or use a root spray if your hair is fine or limp).

Once you have gotten that far you have a few options: you can get the curls using either hot rollers or a curling iron. In my opinion a curling iron is easier to use. By the picture it looks like the curls were done using either a 1" or 1.5" barrel iron. For a more natural look you can actually use both size irons and alternate the curls. Take small sections of your hair (vary them between about 1" and 1/2" sections) and wrap the section around the curling iron. Rather than starting with the iron at the end of the hair and rolling it up, hold the iron vertically and wrap the botton 2/3 of each section around the barrel. Hold it for about 10-20 seconds (depending on how easily your hair curls). While the curls are still hot take some of them and gently pull on the ends so they stretch out a bit and are not tight and springy. Alternate the direction you wind every other curl so the curls look natural nad not lined up. Repeat this all around your head. when you are done give you hair a good shake and spray it with a flexible hold hair spray.

How long it will take depends on how long and thick your hair is. If your hair looks like hers then probably 20-30 minutes, maybe quicker once you get the hang of it. I have never used a heat protector so i'm not sure about that one but if you need a straightneing balm then i love Crazy straight from beverly hills (can probably get it on amazon.com). I think the line from herbal essences is really good too.

You can get that look with rollers or with a straightener. I found this video to be really helpful when I was looking for that style.

If you do it like the video, it only takes about 10 minutes once you get the hang of it. Conair makes great straighteners. (You need a 1" one) Garnier makes a good leave in conditioner that will protect from the heat.

Use a 1 1/2 inch curling iron, any brand will do, and part your hair into two different sections, start at the bottom, and use small strands of hair if you use too much the curls wont stay. I would reccomend Chi heat protector, it's about $13 but it's the best heat protector I've found.

Depending onhow thick your hair is, it should take anywhere from 15-30 minuites to style.

I would use rollers. Before going to bed, shower and wash your hair (but DO NOT use conditioner) towel dry your hair and wrap your hair in rollers. Sleep with them in and take the rollers out in the morning. That should give you the bounce and curl you are looking for, maintain it by spritzing (not too much!) and instead of using a regular comb or brush, use your fingers or a very soft touch brush.

Using rollers are very hard you should use a curling iron. If your hair is long then use a longer curling iron. Go to Sally's Beauty Supply and ask for a cheap one. But I saw a rust that is usually very expensive but did not cost that much in either TJ Max or Ross in the bath and body section. The more hair you have the longer it will take. I would have a friend or someone curl your hair for the first time so you can so what things you can do.

Use a medium sized curling iron, but only curl the tips of your hair. Conair is an excellent choice. For your heat protector, use Fantasia IC Heat Protector Straightening Spray. First let the curling iron heat up for several minutes. (Do this in advance if you know you won't have time to wait.) Next, open the curling iron by holding your four fingers around the handle while pushing your thumb down on the moving part of handle. Clip the curling iron onto a half an inch strand of hair at the top part of your hair, the part closest of where you want the curl to start by lifting your thumb. Start curling your hair in the direction you want it to curl in, for example curve it under if you want an inward curl. Curl your hair upward toward the starting point.Continue to curl your hair until you reach the top part of your hair and hold it there for a few seconds. Stop at the starting point.Slowly and gently start to uncurl your hair until you reach a point where you can press your thumb down again without your hair holding your curling iron shut. Open and close the curling iron until you ease it out of your hair. Repeat the steps on all of your hair that you want curled. Use fingers to tousle hair.
