Try curling it with a curling iron. But when you curl it hold the iron straight so it doesnt get too curly and do a little bit of hair at a time. Well, what i do after is use a garnier fructis leave in conditioner for curly hair and maybe use a little hairspray. anyways, good luck !

OK, first when ur hair is damp wrap small sections at a time tightly around your finger. Then hairspray them, and unwrap your finger, it looks great!

I want to colour my hair the same as Eva Mendes'. My mum and dad are spanish, so me and her have the same sort of colouring, so I thought going that light would work. However, I tried on a wig that colour, and it completely clashed with my face and colouring. It didn't look right at all.

I use hot rollers everyday, so thats my suggestion. Not sure why you put "no hot rollers" because mine work great, and its the best way I have found to add body and fullness.

the straightener works the best, your hair wont fry or dry out b-cause if you use your straightener, you just twist your hair aroung it quickly, you can curl your whole head in like less than 10 min, and they'll stay in the whole day.

you should just scrunch your hair. heres how:

1) shampoo and condition your hair.

2) apply a moisturizing leave in conditioner

3) untangle the hair.

4) flip your head upside down and push yours fingers up and pressing down in the way you want it.

5) put some hairspray to give you some hold.

OMG i had no idea so many people disliked curly hair... sorry for the previous responses... i think it's beautiful!

well my hair is curly, and gets even curlier when when i put gel in it while wet, then blow-dry it on low setting using a diffuser with my head upside-down. make sure the roots dry really well. and scrunch with your hands as it dries.

The last time while you asked this question, quite many persons on this forum provided you various info. on as to how to bring back your curls, but I would agree with one of my friends here that complete curls are neither in fashion and don't have good look. You better have straightened hair and if you wish you may have curls provided at the edge of the hair (1/4th portion only), that way it may look better.

you should definitely try it a change is always good if you dont like it then change it back..i have like four different colors in my hair i have dyed it many times cz i wasnt happy with it but now i love all the different colors..

First of all...you're gonna want to pick a shade of blonde that will blend with your skin tone and not make you look washed out. Most beauty supply stores can help you with this. They will probably recommend that you bleach your hair out first and then do the coloring. I think though, that with your dark eyebrows you should try hightlighting first, especially if you have never tried being blonde before. I did both and let me tell you the highlighting looked tons better than going completely blonde....I'm a natural brunette as well. I definitely learned a lesson...lol. Good luck in whatever you decide.

I think you are beautiful period, however, I think some highlights are good. its a cool thing that will grow out or can be covered up. If i were you, I would make the highlights bolder. its a tough choice.....good luck

when you get it highlighted i would chose a few colors not just one... the blonde shade, a shade darker than your natural shade, and a brown shade

You could get some auburn or gold highlights. Stay away from blonde. It could look too fake on your naturally dark features. As for the bangs, yes, I think you should get them. They're so trendy right now. =)

i think the front bangs would look great!! as for highlights, i'd say aim for a lighter brown not blonde, u can always go lighter later if u want to, but with lighter brown regrowth wont look so bad as with blonde on dark hair.

Highlights would be very pretty. You should try some red ones or even a dark blonde color would look nice.

But as for the straight across bang idea, I suggest you hold off on that. A straight bang when you're still young will only make you look like a little girl. Wait until you're at least 18 or 20 and look more mature. You could always try to grow out your bangs if you are sick of them.

My hair was very similar to yours for my wedding. What my stylist did was to take the back and set on rollers, then took the back bottom and combed it up and pinned it to look as if it was an updo (though it wasn't long enough for one) and had curls, that again looked like an updo, fall over the pins to hide it. It looked very sophisticated and worked perfectly. The front and sides were softly curled and romantic.

Talk to your stylist, I am sure he/she can do something similar.

Shampoo and condition your hair very well and brush with your wide toothed comb and/or brush. Make sure there are no knots!

Apply a small amount of conditioner and anti-frizz serum (anti-frizz serum is optional). Rub the products in very well until you can't see them in your hair anymore.

If your hair is naturally wavy let it air dry or blow dry your hair with a comb using anti-frizz serum.

Turn on the curling iron or curling irons that you plan to use.*

While the curling irons are warming up, separate your hair into three sections by pulling two sections to each side of your face leaving the third section to be the back.

Clip up two of the sections, leaving one down. Curl the first section, starting toward the back of your head and working your way to the front. When you put your hair in the curling iron it should look like a spring that is coiled around the curling iron. If you have two different sizes of curling irons use the larger one to curl the bottom layer of your hair and the smaller one to curl the top.

Spray that section with your hairspray and gently clip it away from the rest.

When you finish all of the sections, take out any clips or scrunchies you have holding the section and spray your hair all over with hairspray one more time.

Pull back a chunk of hair and secure.

Tips:

* Make sure you tussle your hair throughout the day to give it more body with a relaxed look to it yet it looks bouncy.

* don't make the curling iron go all the way up to your head or it will look too curly

* Use maximum hold hair spray to keep your style in all day.

Get a good shampoo and conditioner combination and a curling iron, it also depends on your hair type which I am not sure of (texture, color, length etc.). You may have to go to a salon eventually if your hair is not cut the same way but the cut is only a small part, get a conditioner your hair straight, soft, and managable, then use a curling iron for the parts that you want to be wavy, but again things like the bangs need to be cut similarly.

How can I make my hair wavy?

There are several ways to make that happen!

First, braid all of you hair (if you have bangs, leave your bangs alone) into maybe 10 braids and then go to sleep with the braids in. When you wake up, leave the rubber bands in and spray the braids with hairspray, mousse, or gel. Make sure that you spray behind the braids or they won't stay well. Then, take out the rubber bands or watever u use and then just ruffle it a little with your fingers, but don't use a brush or somb or it'll ruin it. Make sure that the night before, you brush your hair so all the tangles are out when you wake up. If you have side bangs or bangs, a really cute look is if you keep the bangs straight when your hair is wavy and bring them to the side. That would look SOOOO cute.

You can also use a curling iron. Just curl it like you normally would if you were going to curl it and make sure that the curls are really curly curls, and that they aren't wavy. Then slightly wet it with water, or you can use leave-in conditioner and then lightly brush or comb your hair so that the curls smooth down and become waves.

Another way is to go to a normal drug store, grocery store, etc. and buy the shampoo and conditioner that makes your hair wavy. They have those shampoos for curly, straight, wavy, etc. Start using it at least 5-6 days before the first day of school, and i guarantee it will be perfectly wavy when that day comes.

Or try the easy way: go to bed with your hair down and when you wake up, brush you hair to get all of the tangles out and then tip your head upside down and shake your head around so your hair looks semi-messy, and then ruffle your hair all over so it looks EVEN more messy, and then comb it with your fingers so that it's not as messy and then when it looks wavy, spray it with whatever you use (gel, mousse, hairspray, or whatever).

Braiding your hair while it's still wet and then sleeping on it works for some people. When you wake up your hair should be dry and once you take the braids out there should be waves. Blow drying with a barrel brush and spritzing some curl stuff on your hair would also work.

two things:

1). hair cut. The guys on the pictures have lots of layers; yours do not. Ask the hairstylist for that style.

2). products. the guys' hair have been teased (you sort of "fluff" your hair up with the hair comb) while blow dried - and after applying some gel to the hair, possibly. Well, maybe his were natural (doubt it) but you need hair gel or mousse. I prefer gel.

also, his hair is highlighted. If you highlight your hair, you will likely look gay (as in homosexual) - somehow, most young guys with highlights do - nothing bad about it but just keep it in mind.

To style it use hot rollers loosly in your hair or only curl 1/3 of the way down your head. Spray hairspray into your finger tips and massage it into the roots of your hair. Then for the finishing touch spray a shine spray all over.

Getting Curly Hair?

It took me a while to figure out how to curl my hair and make it stay. But the best way is to pull the top section of hair up and clip it and start with the bottom layer of hair. Take like one inch sections and curl it about half way up. Let it down in like a spiral, then hairspray. Do about 3 different layers, but make sure to hairspray or it won't stay. After you've curled it all just run your fingers through it a little bit and it should look awesome. There are some video's on Youtube if you just do a search for "how to curl hair" or something. They're pretty helpful! Good Luck!

You have to have a round brush and blow dry it the opposite way as if your going to send it right, but when you are all done, send it left. it will take a lot of blow drying and you should have an blow dryer with ion technology, also if your hair is thick you will need an oil to put on the tips when you are done so it doesn't look too frizzy. A cut will help replicate the look, but you should ask the stylist to style it like that too and pay attention to her steps.

I heard if you get your hair dyed jet black the only way to get your original color back is to bleach it and that's very damaging on your hair. Maybe just get a darker shade of brown with some highlights, that's always pretty =P.

Oh, fun!! Do #1, dramatic haircuts are SO much fun! You'd really look cute with either one, but I say go for the shorter, more dramatic cut. Especially if you've never had hair that short before--it's a liberating feeling! Plus some women tie so much of their femininity and self-esteem up in their hair length, it's awesome to get it the length of it chopped off and realize you're still feminine and cute as hell!

I routinely grow my hair out really long, then cut it to chin length, and everytime I cut it people are shocked, and tell me how much more mature I look (I have a baby face, but I'm 24).

If you aren,t happy with the results,ask for a refund and have your hair styled some where else. Good hair dressers are hard to find.Luckily hair grows back.

You can try pinning your bangs to the side. If they're at brow length they may be to hard to pin straight back unless you really gel them, then it might look greasy.

Go back to the salon and ask for your money back, if you paid. You wanted a certain haircut and she couldn't do it. If she's not the owner ask to speak to them to get this resolved. Otherwise take the photo into a more reputible salon and see if they can fix it.

get it style cut.. take those photo's along.

use a product (not a gel - that will just make it hard and gross) which will enhance that sort of together ratty look. maybe even check in the girls section for enchancing curl.

One of the best ways to get this hair is to use LARGE round curlers roll sections from tip to root (1 1/2 - 2inch sections) and blowdry till hair is dry and HOT! Take them our slowly and unroll don't pull - then Tease around the crown of your head (the top) part how ever you want it and smooth - you will have great volume and a cute style just like hillary duff ( and really sexy curls at the bottom!)

usually when you go to the salon and you want a certain cut, just bring in that picture and tell them you want it that length and want to be able to style it that way. usually by looking at the picture, the stylist can tell you how you can style it that way and what products to use for it.

big hot rollers. then put some oil on your hair after you take them out, without messing w/ the curls. in other words, take the rollers out %26amp; immediately, put some oil in your hair. don't mess w/ the freshly curled hair right away, cause you want to keep the curl as long as possible ... to keep its shape.

Take tissue paper and cut it into strips, then curl your hair around it and tie it in a little bundle on top of your head. The more hair in the bundle, the bigger the curl. Do this with wet hair and sleep in it. in the morning, just untie them and have big, bouncy, beautiful, curls!!

I would have to agree that there are probably more hair salons than art galleries in every major city. However, if the place you are going with this is "Dallas is a shallow, presumptious city with litttle substance", yes, I would have to agree.

I live here because because my family loves it, and I have found ways to be happy here, but this city and its local people are not my cup of tea. The only hope for this city is that more and more people from other real cities move here and take over. Dallas people primarily excel at 1) talking about their job or salary at partys, bars, and clubs, 2) snidely asking others what they drive, 3) only trusting and siding with people of their own race, 4) holding each other back, 5) being jealous of neighboring and culturally rich Houston, 6) creating powerless committees on how to improve their city.

Headbands!!!! They are really easy to wear, you can wear them with your hair up or down, or half up, anything. American Eagle has a lot of printed headbands, Target usually had a few. I'm not a big fan of Claire's but they have a ton, so if you want a specific color I would look there.

i think its fine just the way it is.

black basically matches everything except for yellow, puke, and bright neon colors.

with curly hair, wear a wide headband. u can get cute ones from icing by claires.

Don't put up your "bangs". leave a cropping of hair at the front of the headband. It looks cute.

Shop at Charlotte Russe, American Eagle Outfitters, and Abercrombie and Fitch.

Hot Topic is punk style, so don't shop there.

just use common sense, and relax.

looks to me like it is highlighted VERY heavy with a couple different blonds. an ash and a golden.

you will have to go to a salon to get this look, it would be very hard, if not impossible to get this look at home.

it is possible that her hair is colored all blonde, and then lighter bleached streaks were added, I think that would be the easiest way to go.... depending on how dark your natural hair is.

I also have medium to longish hair, past my sholders, but its curly/wavy and hold curl really well when i use a curling iron. the first style will require blow drying your hair straight and then using hot rollers (sm. - med. size - any bigger and you'll just get straight hair with lots of body) to achieve controlled curls that you can then bump up with a curling iron and lightly brush out the curls (vent brush or paddle but use a strong mouse first (golf-ball sized in wet hair) and pin accordingly. Rollers need to go in one direction , usually left to right - not under or over the roller (hold the roller horizontal).

the second style is best achieved with a 1" barrel curling iron, some heat protectant and some spray gel. You might want a friends help to get the back right the first few tries.

very simple .. take dry or damp hair... twist the ends and curl around your finger and loosely pile on top of your head and pin into place... in the morning, take out the bobbypins and bend at waist and spritz ends of hair with spray. toss hair while standing up,,, finger curl ends and spray!!!

Usually these are extensions. But you can use those bendable curlers, the ones that look like sticks or even steam curlers. Then just use your fingers to shape them, not a brush. Then spray to hold in place. Use a little styling lotion or styling product before curling. They don't leave them in long. This is usually done on dry hair and done fast then sprayed. Good luck.

i would suggest you using a 1 inch curling iron and spray it slightly with a lite hot spray styling spray before winding it around the barrel now don't torture yourself and sleep in rollers besides you will get a fussy look then when you are done curling it use a pick and pick it out -you may also consider a body wave with a large rod like purple and Grey if you like it styled with the hot iron---u c the body wave will make the curl last longer and it will adhere to your hair better and curl more quickly--stylist here many yrs

the easiest way is not with rollers. that usually requires gel and its a headache to sleep with them on. all you need is a thin flat iron.. you pull a piece through the flat iron but when you get near the ends flip the iron over with your hair still in it and pull it very slowly. it should make a loose curl at the ends.

well, i don't know about mandy moore, but i find a big barrel curling iron makes nice big loose curls. also smooths my hair nicely.

the smaller barrel tends to make me look like a poodle.

Her hair is natural. I can tell because it doesn't have any gel or anything in it. But this is how you get that look. Wash your hair and towel dry but leave it damp. And put some curling gel in your hair not alot just a little. Then put your hair up like princess Laya's on both sides and Take a blow dryer and put it on the lowest setting and HOTT HOTT blow dry it. And when you take your hair down it will be nice and curly. OOHH I forgot to tell you after you use the gel spray some hair spray in your hair so it will dry curly.

Or if you really want to be daring, try being a red head. Your skin is pale enough, it would probably work. See a good colorist at a good salon though. I didn't look at your picture but if you are describing a pale skin tone, then I would go with a light brown, with blond or red high/low lights or a dark blond with light blond highlights. I am very pale and I have dark brown hair on the bottom 2/3 of my head and the top is highlighted with blond and light red colors. I love it because it doesn't wash me out and it gives me more color than I actually have.

I think that would look fine. In the winter you want a subtle tint. Go for Jergens Tinted lotion. Every use makes you a little more golden(with regular use) Also bronze or gold shimmers also help with that ghost-look.

i have the same type of skin but i have green eyes and i colored my hair dark and i have gotten alot of compliments on it! before it was medium brown with blonde streaks and now solid dark. i work in a dental clinic and i have alot of women asking what color i used. it is by Loreal Feria and it is number 45. this product also makes yur hair feel so good and shiny. so i think it would look really good! You can get this at Walmart for about 10 bucks.
