well if your going fo skater girl that's not what a skater girl is haha but they're adorable I love them i'm guessing your gonna need a perm if you want those curls to stay. Overall I love the idea. Try dramatic side bangs with lots of layers if you want something different. Just stick to a trim

how do i do that with moose?
there are directions on the bottle for different types of curls.... what i do is put the moose then add some type of volumizing spay then srunch it.... my friend does that but she blow dries hers aftwerward

You need a mousse that doesn't contain alcohol.There is Redken to define curls.
you cant do that with moose...and those pics are curls...not waves, moose will only be good on wet curl look or the scrunch look.....to get those looks straighten your hair with a ceramic straightener...and curl them either with the straightener or curling iron but directly after pin the curl and spray light mist hair spray depending if your hair can hold curls....because...directly curing your hair with a curling iron could have a too curly or a look.l..so you might just need rollers....but dont roll all the way to the root....those curls are longer than normal....hope that helped....
My advice if you want to use mousse to help set your curls, is after you've shampoo'd your hair, try not to rub your hair in between the towel to much and let the ringlets kinda fall into place on their own. If its too tangled, then try to use a brush to comb it out lightly and after you're done throw hair over your head with your head down as you bend over. Apply the mousse evenly as you apply it and scrunch your hair upwards with your hand. Throw your hair back and try to use your fingers to to comb it back into place and let it dry somewhat. Depending on how short your hair is on top, you can use a round bristle brush to style your top. Another idea is to use the mousse and then roll your hair placing the rollers vertical. After it's completely dry...let the tresses fall naturally using your fingers to comb through it to style.
I have very curly hair when I let it dry naturally. I don't have to use mousse although it's very effective. When my hair is almost air dried....I'll toss my hair over my head and use hair spray to scrunch it and use my fingers to style most of it. The top I style with my roller brush to give it alittle lift.

1.) It looks like her hair type is straight and it's been blown dry with a round brush
2.) No shampoo will make anyone's hair go from curly to wavy. (Especially Herbal Essences!!) You can use a straightening cream when you blow dry to tame your curls into a wave or to straighten them completely. If you're going to straighten them completely I'd recommend a flat iron after you blow dry.

Just remember to ALWAYS use something to protect your hair from the heat of a blow dryer, curling iron, flat iron, etc.
P.S. If your hair is really curly, don't get your hopes up about it looking like hers. If it is possible, it will take a lot of work on your part

hmm..both of the pictures are not full on blonds. what i would suggest is to ask your stylist to do a heavy weave on all of your hair except the top(Mohawk) ask for fine slices of the blond and your natural, this will make the appearance of blond, but not the bleached out of a box. when it starts to grow out, you wont have a heavy line of demarcation(roots) cause you will still have a little of your natural color to blend with.

Both would look nice. Lighter complexions can pull off a wide variety of colors. Just don't go too light and into the platinum blonde range. It never looks natural.

About a hair-do for v-day.......if you don't have a date and your going with friends and are hoping to find a date, don't get all fancy. You should just pull your hair up in a bun or give your hair a few curls but that's about it. On the other hand, if you do have a date, do your hair nicely to make him in awe!!!

It's not the pin, you need to tease your hair in the front so that it stands up a little and then you smooth it out before pinning it down.

It's definatly not the pin. You should try putting a bit of mouse in your hair and curling it first. Also, teasing should help, but not too much because you'll never be able to get it down!
you can make ur hair like that by dying it black doing the blower and then use a clip to keep it still and then put hair spray or gel to keep it that way than take the clip off and viola ur done
my mother is a hair dresser; its not the pin holding it up. what i'd do is at night wash it, and put it up, use gel and moose. or in the morning moose it and then use loads of hairspray to tease it.
lift up the section of hair you want to make poofy and back comb it (run the comb from the tip of the hair towards the root to basically make a big poofy knot in your hair) , spray with hairspray then smooth out the top part by carefully running the comb over it before pinning it down... finish with one last spray of hairspray and thats it!!

Finger dry or blast with your hairdryer using fingers to create texture.
Finish with a hair dressing product such as pomade or soft wax, don't go near gel!

I would go the brown as it's going to make your eyes stand out so much more where as a blonde is going to make you seem pale. Also blonde hair is such maintenance because of regrowth.

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look.
then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......
and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy.
and as for just regular hairstyles, i would try sidebangs or whispy bangs instead of thick ones......dont know about the cut i might have to see the shape of your face, sry....
you can also do buns, because they are pretty in, or low pigtails, but you might be a little old for them, but my sister in college looks cute in them so i dont know.....
as for hairbands, very cute and in!!! definitely!!!
u could wear your hair half-up, leaving your bangs down.....

try a crimper. you need to buy a smaller one than normal then you need to do it in sections.
get a curling iron. one with a skinny end.
either wrap hair around small curling iron, or try twisting hair when it's wet in several sections, pin it, let it dry then take it out. put some mousse in it to keep it in

if you have a color printer just print it off and give it to your hair dresser and say this is what i want, and even if the color on the paper isn't exactly the color they will make the assumtion that you want it to look natural and layered like his is.

I think that you'd actually look really awesome with that hair style and colour. It seems like it would suit you really nicely. I would say that the highlights are a caramel shade, a darker caramel shade. Then the base colour is just a dark chocolate brown. :) Hope I've helped.

Use hairspary on each section of hair as you curl it or use hot rollers over night and spray with tons of hairspray. or if you like the seventeen site they have tips for that.

personally, i use curlers, but they give you stiffer curl. so with a curling iron, you can get a gel that is heat activated when you apply the iron if you have hair that is fried or hard to curl. next you can get a perm. they can get expensive but can get nice results.
Curling hair is awesome! Girls who have them look sexy, and I bet you'll look sexy too! I'm not sure how to do it, but I've heard how girls use them and that's by having a certain type of curling iron and pull it down your hair slowly. But I know you'll find a solution some time soon.

I actually had that hair style about 2 years ago...lol but it is easy yet hard to maintain. At first you have to get use to it, because its different then longer hair, but as soon as I got in the swing of things and learning how to style it, it took less then 5 minutes for me to do it. With that style you'll need a flat iron and gel or hair spray, or besides gel I like pomade it holds really well without being heavy, the only thing is if you want to keep it up you'll need trims every few weeks. But I love the style!

My hair right now is a little longer than sholder length and medium thickness and it takes about 5-10 minutes to dry.If you want your hair like that than you would have to have to use some product... -use the tip of the comb to draw a line where you'd like to part your hair

I am not sure how wavy your hair is, but I have very wavy hair, and I have a problem with parting it. The best thing to do is to go to the salon, but if that is not an option, part it with the stick end of a fine toothed comb and use a lot of product and bobby pins to hold it. Good luck.

i need the kind of loose long ringlets or waves, my hair really is not that long, only past my shoulder and all i have is a couple of large rollers, small rollers and a curling iron.
If your hair is one length, I would get a some layers cut in the ends of your hair, then I would get a product that would give you volume when you blow dry your hair, and finally I would section out the ends of your hair and curl them with a curling iron with a 1 and 1/2 inch curling iron. I would curl up to where you want your curls to begin... Good luck.

well it all depends...do u have thick hair? thin hair? first off show your stylist some pics of what you want it to be like and tell her you want loose beachy waves... but it might not turn out because if you have thin hair thers more of a chance you'll be getting tighter curls and it will stay longer...but with thick hair it might not curl as tight and not stay in so i would recommend asking your stylist for help and /or just using hot rollers they work really well i use 'em every day to get my thick hair like that =]
If your hair is naturally curly, just use some curl mouse....and a defuser on your hair dryer. Or let it air dry.
straighten your hair, use a lil frizz stuff if you got it, then you take the curling iron, and spiral an amount of hair around it,whatever saize you want, hold it for a lil, you can spray it but you really dont have to...you'll probly have to try a couple times to get it the way that you want it, then you just slowly drag it out...loosely and there you go.
For the first one, take one inch sections of your hair and wrap them around a one or two inch curling iron. Switch directions to make it look natural. Finish with flexible hold hairspray and shine spray.
For the second use jumbo hot curlers. Also finish with flexible hold hairspray and shine spray.

Let your hair grow and if you have sisters they probably have a staightener and it looks like in the second picture your hair might have some wave so try to staighten it once it grows out enough i know it may seem weird but alot of guys do it at my school and their hair is hott

you take a rat tail comb and you have to twist it and pull it but make sure to use a gel to keep the hold but i just think it would come out better if you went to a stylist.

Try going to your salon and getting scrunching gel. It's really simple. There is one where you just wet your hair and you put it in a bun or use your hands to scrunch then you wait for it to dry. That's what I use. I hope I could help.

Like, at night time, wet your hair, and put into like 4 or five pony tails. Then in the morning it should be pretty wavy.

well to get my hair like that i take a shower at night and then put it up in a bun and just sleep with it like that....then in the morning u can use scrunching sray and scrunce it and then yeah there u go.......
or what i have recelently been doing is taking a shower in the morning, not brushing it when i get out, and then once its kinda dry i use scrunch spray and i scrunch it....then what i do is pull alittle back (from one side) and clip it with either a little clip or a bobby pin....

dont use gel itll make ur hair hard. buy a shaping mousses and leave it in your hair. Blow dry in sections but using a round brushe do it circular patterns tto get a nice flip. Do for each layer. This will give nice volume. Wen ur done blowdrying get your curling iron section hair. And curl as close to the root as possible thne hold it in for a while repeat for that whole section and for the rest of the sections. then brush your hair and use hairspray and shake it up to make it nice and bouncey

You need to get some hair curlers (I would suggest you use the curling iron (try the big ones because the small-barelled iron will less likely have a "big hair" effect. Opt for the bigger ones for a dazzling wave) for this as it is much easier that the conventional curlers. A paddle brush. A curl/style enhancing serum (there are so many products out there so check it out first) and also some bobby pins.
The first thing to do is to brush your hair with a paddle brush to get rid of the tangles of your hair and also to make it manageable.
After you brush your hair, put some curl/style enhancing serum so that after you curl your hair, it will turn out looking still shiny and not dry and/or limp.
Divide your hair into four parts and put a bobby pin on the two top halves of your hair. Also, brush it again with a paddle brush.
Take a small part of your hair (preferably two inches from the end of your hair since it is placed under. taking all of it will seem like you have a very big hair!)and gently put it on the curling iron. Wait for ten to fifteen seconds and slowly pull out the curled hair. Do this until you covered all the part of your hair
Now that you've covered up the lower section of your hair, you may now proceed with the upper section of your hair. Again, score a good amount of hair, this time, get all of it in the curling iron and wait for ten to fifteen seconds. Do this until you curled the your whole hair. Gently diffuse curls by finger styling it to suit your preferences. And as the last touch, seal it off by applying the style/curl enhancing serum for that natural shine. :)

I think if you want to get anything done, get a red or puple set of streaks. It's not too much , and it looks great...
plus, since Asian hair is so course and dark, (my mom was a hiar dresser and had to do a Japanese womans hair) it takes hours to bleach it, plus, it takes a lot of bleach. And you have to bleach it before you dye it a lighter colour, and it's terrible for your hair. So just go with some simple, but awesome streaks.
I do agree when they dye their hair blonde or the kind, I think they become weird. But with darker colours, it s OK. I have brownish reddish with black straws and some people think I am Asian, others think I am a brunette.

i take a shower, then right after put it in a high bun. sleep on it without drying it, and in the morning it will still be wet, but curlier. you could also try a crimping iron.

There are several ways to make that happen!
First, braid all of you hair (if you have bangs, leave your bangs alone) into maybe 10 braids and then go to sleep with the braids in. When you wake up, leave the rubber bands in and spray the braids with hairspray, mousse, or gel. Make sure that you spray behind the braids or they won't stay well. Then, take out the rubber bands or watever u use and then just ruffle it a little with your fingers, but don't use a brush or somb or it'll ruin it. Make sure that the night before, you brush your hair so all the tangles are out when you wake up. If you have side bangs or bangs, a really cute look is if you keep the bangs straight when your hair is wavy and bring them to the side. That would look SOOOO cute.
You can also use a curling iron. Just curl it like you normally would if you were going to curl it and make sure that the curls are really curly curls, and that they aren't wavy. Then slightly wet it with water, or you can use leave-in conditioner and then lightly brush or comb your hair so that the curls smooth down and become waves.
Another way is to go to a normal drug store, grocery store, etc. and buy the shampoo and conditioner that makes your hair wavy. They have those shampoos for curly, straight, wavy, etc. Start using it at least 5-6 days before the first day of school, and i guarantee it will be perfectly wavy when that day comes.
Or try the easy way: go to bed with your hair down and when you wake up, brush you hair to get all of the tangles out and then tip your head upside down and shake your head around so your hair looks semi-messy, and then ruffle your hair all over so it looks EVEN more messy, and then comb it with your fingers so that it's not as messy and then when it looks wavy, spray it with whatever you use (gel, mousse, hairspray, or whatever).

Braiding your hair while it's still wet and then sleeping on it works for some people. When you wake up your hair should be dry and once you take the braids out there should be waves. Blow drying with a barrel brush and spritzing some curl stuff on your hair would also work.

They only use highlights that are a few shades lighter than their natural hair colors, and the idea is to look like their hair has been kissed by the sun. Ask your colorist to alternate between chunky and think highlighs and to start just below your ears. If your hair is shorter this look will not work for you. To style it use hot rollers loosly in your hair or only curl 1/3 of the way down your head. Spray hairspray into your finger tips and massage it into the roots of your hair. Then for the finishing touch spray a shine spray all over.

The thing that most people don't understand is that these girls have expensive hair extensions and professional hair stylist. The most important thing is how long your hair is. curlers usually don't work that well and using a large barrel curling iron will work but it takes a long time. The best tool is actually a straightener. start at the root of your hair and twist your wrist while going down your strand of hair it makes large waves that last long. It works well for me good luck

well to get the shine... make sure you use conditioner (duh) lol and when you get out of the shower put in leave in conditioner. creams and such work best when used with a blow dryer. if you straighten your hair... use heat protector.. not only does it protect your hair but adds shine
now to get those bits back.. grow your hair out a bit and then go to a salon and ask your hairdresser to cut your bangs like that. show her those pictures too show she has an idea.

I used to have THICK curly, dark brown BEAUTIFUL hair when I was a baby/toddler. hair always changes as you go through puberty, its normal and it sucks. go to your salon if your hair feels damaged and they can help recommend some products to control frizz and put moisture back into your locks.
if you have naturally dry curly hair a curl specific shampoo and conditioner is probably best a leave in conditioner or curl-serum might help also.
I have very frizzy curly hair and that's what I use, I also shave my head every few years (and donate it to locks of love) which really re-vitalities it but isn't realistic for alot of girls. Try not to wash your hair more then 3 times a week, and only use a wide tooth comb to brush your hair a regular brush will make it frizzier.
I never ever use a blow drier - if you don't have a diffuser it's a nightmare on curls.

use mousse, then dry with a round brush, curling it under and towards your face. to make it more defined use a large barrel curling iron and curl it under towards your face. use hairspray on your roots for added volume.

When you dry it, put your brush under your hair and kind of curve it in while you dry it.

I know it's possible with my straightener because it came out like that by accident only once, on just one piece of hair. I have no idea what I did though.
To be honest I don't know how to obtain that with a straightener but you can get a look like that by using product. When your hair is wet put in gel and moose and scrunch your hair with a wet cloth. for tighter curls scrunch a lot for looser curls like you want scrunch less and play with it a little with your hands
A loose spiral perm will do it. Otherwise mousse or gel is neccessary I think. Good Luck
its easy
1) take some of your hair place the strightner right at the top of the hair( root )
2)place the strightner horizontally
3)hold the end of the hair(the tip)
4) move the strightner down slowly dont let go of the tip of the hair..... (the slower you move the tighter the curl )

If your hairs thick you should seriously think of long layers, they'll give your hair a little less thinkness. Im assuming your a boy so they wont look all girly since there long and less noticable. You could just cut it or razor it yourself (or get it done). Or just straighten it, a solid ceramic straightener would be best.
Also I dont wanna sound stupid but oh well I personally think he might be gay (although extremely attractive) so he probally has a lot of product in it. Like serum to make it shine and probally something to make it straight.
