there are directions on the bottle for different types of curls.... what i do is put the moose then add some type of volumizing spay then srunch it.... my friend does that but she blow dries hers aftwerward

You need a mousse that doesn't contain alcohol.There is Redken to define curls.

you cant do that with moose...and those pics are curls...not waves, moose will only be good on wet curl look or the scrunch look.....to get those looks straighten your hair with a ceramic straightener...and curl them either with the straightener or curling iron but directly after pin the curl and spray light mist hair spray depending if your hair can hold curls....because...directly curing your hair with a curling iron could have a too curly or a look.l..so you might just need rollers....but dont roll all the way to the root....those curls are longer than normal....hope that helped....

My advice if you want to use mousse to help set your curls, is after you've shampoo'd your hair, try not to rub your hair in between the towel to much and let the ringlets kinda fall into place on their own. If its too tangled, then try to use a brush to comb it out lightly and after you're done throw hair over your head with your head down as you bend over. Apply the mousse evenly as you apply it and scrunch your hair upwards with your hand. Throw your hair back and try to use your fingers to to comb it back into place and let it dry somewhat. Depending on how short your hair is on top, you can use a round bristle brush to style your top. Another idea is to use the mousse and then roll your hair placing the rollers vertical. After it's completely dry...let the tresses fall naturally using your fingers to comb through it to style.

I have very curly hair when I let it dry naturally. I don't have to use mousse although it's very effective. When my hair is almost air dried....I'll toss my hair over my head and use hair spray to scrunch it and use my fingers to style most of it. The top I style with my roller brush to give it alittle lift.

If you want straight hair you can't do that with just mouse. If you want extensions mouse won't help either.
