i put my hair up like her but then when i pinn it down the hair becomes completly flat and not poofy/big like her soo

It's not the pin, you need to tease your hair in the front so that it stands up a little and then you smooth it out before pinning it down.

It's definatly not the pin. You should try putting a bit of mouse in your hair and curling it first. Also, teasing should help, but not too much because you'll never be able to get it down!

you can make ur hair like that by dying it black doing the blower and then use a clip to keep it still and then put hair spray or gel to keep it that way than take the clip off and viola ur done

my mother is a hair dresser; its not the pin holding it up. what i'd do is at night wash it, and put it up, use gel and moose. or in the morning moose it and then use loads of hairspray to tease it.

lift up the section of hair you want to make poofy and back comb it (run the comb from the tip of the hair towards the root to basically make a big poofy knot in your hair) , spray with hairspray then smooth out the top part by carefully running the comb over it before pinning it down... finish with one last spray of hairspray and thats it!!
