Boring hair...?

Okay I'd like to dye my hair. I kind of want to go light, but would I have to bleach it(yes, is probably the answer but I wanted to check). I can really only go darker because my hair is a wicked dark brown and it can only be seen as brown in sunlight or w/e. I kind of want this color: http://img2.timeinc.net/people/i/2007/ga...

I know it wasn't one of the choices but miley cyrus's hair the darker version so it wouldn't be a huge change but would probably spice up your normal hair color.

idk wat to tell you you mat have to bleach your hair just a tad, you may not have to bleach very much because bleach is not good for your hair, so just start out w/ only a little bit of bleach, then once your hair dries do a little boi more or something like that untill you get it a good color to die it from...
